Used 822 versus Used HTC 8X 16GB

Any advice? I just missed out on a great Lumia 822. Oh well, will try Craigslist next. But then I looked around and it seems like the HTC 8X is a great phone as well. Any watchouts on the HTC versus Nokia? I have had an HTC Windows device in the past and am currently using Lumia 521/Lumia 810 devices.

Aesthetically for me the HTC 8X is much better looking than the Lumia 822. The HTC also has an HD screen and perhaps better sounding chip.
IMO the Lumia 822 is the ugliest Lumia of all.

With that said.

The feature set and support of Nokia can't be beat. So for me go with Nokia.

Heh, I like the looks of my 822 over most other Lumias. I hate those sharp corners.

Im currently using the 8x and had the 822. Camera wise I liked the lumia better, it just took pictures faster and a little less washed out. Sound wise I like the 8x better, it has a fuller sound. I loved having the expandability in the lumia, less streaming.
Both connect fine with my bluetooth headsets and creative labs d80 speaker.
My biggest complaint with the 8x is the "cant send message" I get. I never got that with the lumia.

The HTC 8x was my first phone. Bought the Lumia 822 on eBay for $139 so I could test the WP8 apps I write on a low resolution phone. Turns out I like th 822 better than the 8x. I think you made a good choice.
