Used 920 or a brand new 625

Guys I need help in deciding to buy which one for my gf. A brand new 625 or an used 920? I did ask her and she wouldn't mind either but firstly, I know she wants a new device, secondly I want her to have a brand new phone.

But we all know the advantages of having a 920 over a 625

And the price is the same

If 920 is a fair buy go for it, but 625 also packs a decent processor, its lighter in weight, bigger screen, SD support, color choice.

Its all upto your GF's preference.

If she doesn't care about games that require 1gb of ram then go with the 625, also is she into photography? Because the 920 is still a big winner in that department

Personally I'd take the 920 any day because it's more feature rich but if you don't care about high end games, great camera, hd display and you'd rather save some money then take the 625

625 lacks
Glance, 1gm ram, notification light, no lights for touch keys.

Only reasons I can come up with for the 625:

maybe longer battery life (I THINK) since it has the same sized battery yet lower powered internals
Swappable back covers
microSD, although internal storage is much less
That extra .2" of screen

nothing really compelling, tl;dr go 920

Well....Your girlfriend wants a new device. Why not save a little bit more and get her a new Lumia 920? Sure, it may delay the purchase, but she will have a more versatile device with great built in features/functionality.

I think I would go buy the used 920 but first check the condition first. Can't buy her a new one due to really tight budget. Will take maybe a few more months to save up and I'd promise her she would get a new phone this year after selling her S3 in August. She kindda hates Samsung now lol due mainly random crashes and reboots. She probably won't care by now and she's itching to own a decent smartphone. Anyway if she is my gf, she will love and use whatever I buy for her .

In Singapore, 820 is pretty rare to find and it costs around $400-500. While a 625 and the used 920 costs about $300.

Also, Nokia's phones are rugged phones so dont think if its a used one :wink:

Questions to ask yourself before purchasing anything: Does she care if her phone is brand new or used? Does she have an issue with a phone's weight? I mean, I have a 920 myself and don't consider it heavy by any means, but some do. Also, how large of a screen would she prefer (even though it's only .2 inches difference)? Does she need a very high quality camera or no?
