Using Edge, why can't I sort my favorites automatically?

Using Edge I cannot sort my Favorites automatically.

Also if I do a manual sort, the Favorites including folders are alphabetical after a computer new start. They don't take. Additonally some old Favorites cannot be deleted with the "Delete" option.

Not ideal but it's actually much easier than using Edge to manage them right now. I saved a shortcut for the path to my start menu and in the file explorer to it would be easy to get to.
