Playing around with a bunch of gear we have for video to see what I can get working on the 1520. Managed to get a wireless lav mic setup working with the following gear:

Splitter cable

Senheiser Wireless Mic Kit

The camera app detects the mic just fine. The headphone doesn't work on the headphone part of the splitter. The one issue I had was that I had to plug in and then turn on the mic. If I turned on the mic and then plugged in the volume control went wonky and the camera didn't work. The audio quality is fantastic.
