Using hey Cortana real world usage

I just started using hey Cortana and just to let you all know its best when used when the device is near you, face up and visible like on a desk or table as I tried testing hey Cortana with my 1520 in my pocket and with a shirt covering the phone and it failed miserably due to the fact that the microphone is up front and obstructed. A front shirt pocket may work though?
