Using my old 620 as a multi-media player

So 1 week ago I bought a 1320 . But i still like my old 620 and i have lots of musics on my sd card in 620

My 620 runs wp 8.1 build 8.10.12397

but i have a question.

i want to use this as a music player like iPod or Zune.

should i flash wp8 on it?

because if I do i know that it will run better than wp8.1

or stick with 8.1?

I think you should keep wp8.1 if you have it on the phone already. Since the official launch is near and so on.
You can use MixRadio if you don't like Xbox Music and so on!

If I was going to use an older device for media. I would put wp7 because the zune client works great with that OS. No sync issues like wp8.

Just keep WP 8.1, the full version is coming soon

Flash the 620 back to WP8.
That way you can use it JUST as a media player as the old Music/Video hub works beautifully.
The upcoming 8.1 should be put on the 1320

Keep the newer one because it will get further updates and make it better.

Keep it, there's a music player called Listen, its really fast and has a beautiful transparent live tile too, it should serve your needs.
And you know xbox music of 8.1 is constantly being updated who knows how much better it'll get in the next update.
