Hello and thank you for the help.

I really like Windows Phone 8 and my Nokia so far. One of the things I loved about my iPhone was when I used google maps to search for a company, I could click-and-hold and save the company as a contact (it would include its Address, phone number, web address, etc). Basically saving to my contacts whatever information was there in the search.

On Windows Phone 8, I really love the dedicated search button. It works really well and I can pull up companies that I am looking for (for example, Office Depot nearby). What I want to be able todo once I found this using the search feature, is to now save this to my contacts. How do I do this? I am surprised this isn't just easy to do.

Thank You

I think there's an app for it, but I never downloaded it. I never needed that much info, but to save phone number I just search using search button, click business that I want to save, tap the phone number, call, end call, goto phone tap phone number in recent calls, save.

You should just be able to pin it to your home screen for short term use.

There's an app called "Add too Contacts" Once installed, after you searched for "Office Depot" and you click one of the local search results that has the address, number, etc. You swipe to the right, under "Apps" tap your new "Add to Contacts" app. The app will automatically fill in the appropriate fields for you and you just hit save.
