Verizon $20 Data Plan

Hi all, just wanted to let everyone know that as of today, Verizon is offering a $ 20 data plan for 300 mb. It's perfect for me, because I am very light user and I am usually under Wifi. Saving $ 10 a month! Woohoo!

Is it for a limited time like their 2GB upgrade to 4GB if you have LTE?

No, I was told by the rep it's here to stay. It started off as a promotional plan in a few states and is now nationwide. The $ 20 plan is now listed as the minimum data plan required for all smartphones.

Verizon has had the 300 MB plan for $20/month for at least 1-2 months. (FWIW, I think AT&T has a similar plan - it might be 200 MB - for $15/month.)

No, it was only available in Maryland, North Carolina, Washington, D.C., and Virginia for 2 months. Now it is nationwide.
