Verizon 8X Wi-Fi issues

I had received that update from Verizon a little while back and I know that others were having issues with their Wi-Fi not working but I did not have any issues. Recently however my Wi-Fi fails to recognize any networks causing pretty bad battery drain. If I turn the Wi-Fi off and on quickly nothing changes but if I turn it off for 15 minutes or so it will recognize networks again. Either that or I have had to reboot my phone; which is not ideal. Is anyone else having Wi-Fi issues recently?

I've been having the same problem for the last few weeks. WiFi tries to connect even after I shut it off, then a huge battery drain.

Only a reboot is fixing this problem
