Very angry and upset with WP HTC

Honestly its purely preference.

- Samsung and HTC both make AMAZING phones.

1. sure HTC phones BODY is more durable ( made of freaking metal )
Sure Samsung Screens are MORE durable. ( amoled is know to be more durable then LED)

2. reception is the same, i had both a HTC and a Samsung , never had a problem from both of them ( apple are the once that have shiity reception LOL )

4. Customer service is the same BS. HTC and Samsung ... AT&T or Sprint . apple or MS....

5. its not true that Samsung or HTC or LG gets update faster..... dont know if you notice but updates have NOTHING to do with OEMs. i know people that have both Samsung and HTC and are still waiting on updates... and other already have it... OEMs dont really release updates that often.... your gona see allot more from MS/RTM .. and random 1 year SMALL updates from an actual OEM.

one thing people dont relies..(Customer service wise) is that i can work for HTC give you **** service , get fired and go work for Samsung and give you the same **** service...

People are idiots... and idiots are every where!!! UN-avoidable. ROLF!

I work for Bell: people tell me Bell has the Worst CS ever,.,,, but i never had problems..

my WP is with ROGERS... I NEVER got decent help from them.... but people tell me they are the best..yet.... I HATE THEM!...

it all depends on who you are , who you talk too and how YOU handle the situation.

go to a store and buy witch ever one YOU think is prettier .. LOL

Obviously never been to an apple store. Service is not the same. AT&T is better than some other arrives cause they have their own huge warranty shops. I got an HD7 replacement from T-Mobile that was obviously broken. Never happened to me before. I was furious. The battery contacts were bent. The touchscreen only half worked, and it reboot itself 40x per hour.

There is a difference in service and it's noticeable. It's my just about looks otherwise everyone would use HTC or Sense devices.

HTC devices also tend to have worse reception than Samsung and ESP Motorola devices, as well.

Apple store customer service is the best. I wish there was one closer to me.

Yeah. My Samsung Focus's reception wasn't really that much better than my HTC Titan. It was better, but only by a little bit. But the micro-usb port on the Focus is solid. Can't say the same for my HTC. Even the guy at the repair shop told me he often has to fix HTC and Motorola micro-usb ports.

Then there's my wife's old Nokia feature phone. That thing's reception is so good it's embarrassing for our other phones.

Being a little bit better can be the difference between holding a weak but usable GPRS signal for calls in a rural area and not being able to even send a text message. Not everyone lives in perfect reception, and some carriers are better than others, some buildings are better than others, some people have more things in their house that can interfere with the cell radio, etc. etc.

Feature Phones usually are 2G devices, there are some 3G feature phones, of course, but most of them arent. Therefore a Feature Phone will show full 2G reception in an area where a 3G phone may show 1 bar of 3G. It really depends on the device and the area.

Feature phone reception generally isn't comparable to smartphone reception - generally. You can always disable UMTS on a smartphone (with an OS that allows it) and enjoy a full edge signal even when 3G isn't that strong in many areas :P That would be a more apt comparison.

I tried everything...Uninstalling apps, soft reset, and hard reset. Nothing works.

Well My phone is on its way back the second time from the repair center and it will be here tomorrow.

Man, I will post the result...Not having a phone for almost 4 weeks is painful. I just hope it get fix.

It looks like HTC made good on their promise...They sent me back a brand new phone.

Its works flawlessly. Its ashamed that their customer repair service is piss poor. But I'm glad I have a phone again.

since you work for Bell, wanna fix my text messaging issue? i was suppose to get free text msg along with my plan a year ago but aside from fixing my caller ID and voice mail issue (they charged me =..=) they left the text as is costing me 10cents per text... :( good thing i don't text that much so i didn't notice until its like 9 month in lol
