Very strange battery issue on both 8.1 and W10M

Hi, mates! I have a very strange issue with a battery. I just replaced an old battery with a brand-new on my Lumia 1520. That time I was on the last available issue of W10M. And the highest value of possible charge was 82%. I made a factory reset - nothing changed. Then, I decided to roll back to 8.1 using my Mac, and got that annoying error with driver, phone becomes bricked. After a long manipulation I made it alive finally! On 8.1. But it still stuck on 82% at charge. What the trouble and how to solve it?

Is it possible that you have a dud battery in there? Is it an official battery? Or off-brand?

Well, if we suggest that I bought it on Aliexpress, then, yes. It's possible. But it looks completely like new and original one. With the date of production in september 2015 and all the visible marks like on my old one, including all the сertified marks. And it was a respectful seller with a good karma, who's promised an absolutely new original battery.

From what I hear it's because alot of these replacement batteries are actually 83% at full capacity of the original OEM 1520 batteries. So the 83% isn't a bug it's accurate, but other than not showing 100% the battery will work just fine.

So, did you mean, that this battery will never show me a 100%? And it's less than 3400? Probably, about 3000, it seems.

I bought a battery for my 1520 from etradesupply with this same problem. I installed it probably 6-9 months ago. It works fine. It just never shows more than 82%.

Do anyone have any idea how we can make it to show 100% by calibration.

Do anyone know the reason for wrong readings ?

It seems like there are now wrong readings. It's just because of lower capacity instead of original one.
