Viber is draining my battery

Hi, guys. It seems funny, but my question is really: why my battery is draining so fast? I installed Viber today, and it "swallowed" my battery. It uses 17% of energy when it is in use. Can it be reduced? What can I do?

Check the settings if you can disable something you do not need.
Apps bye the way use battery and you do not say how long you used it.
But if it keeps using to much battery uninstall it or live with it.
