Virtual machine

Hi all,

I am looking at purchasing this beautiful tablet for school but not sure if it would be able to handle virtual machine. I'm using virtual machine on my HP stream mini and it lags big time. I would like to use this tablet for school which requires virtual machine, I will also do some basic coding. Does anyone have any experience running Virtual Machine on this?Would this work or should I go for a Surface Pro 4?

I think you could set up a vm on this, but I would be surprised if it ran well. (the 4gb RAM being the most limiting factor).
If you have a VM requirement for school, why not set up a cheap desktop somewhere and use this device as a remote terminal. Lack of wifi?
 
Developer's advice >> get a decent laptop with at least a Core i processor and 8GB RAM. Spend additional money and get an SSD. You won't complain resources bogging down the performance while coding or running VMs.
