Just an idea I had for Cortana, but it would be nice if she could recognize the sound of the person's voice and address the person by his or name. On the phone, it could also be a nice security feature. If a stranger or someone else tries to talk to Cortana, she could not respond. This could also help make it more personal, and it would be nice to have when Cortana goes multi-platform.
And another possible application. Maybe some kid is given a phone by his parents. He's underage and can't use Cortana. His parents could "register" their voices in case they need to use it. I don't know if or how this would be application to a situation, just throwing out ideas.
