volume during video playback... cook

I was watching a video on my Lumia 900 and out of habit I pinched to see some details... And the volume decreased. I pinched out and it increased. Thought it was kind of cool. Anyone else know about this?

Edit: doesn't work, I guess it's an app or OEM specific feature.
