I have noticed one big issue in my Lumia 520, as while playing games I reduced Volume from 30 to 10. I finished the Game & went to Music, now Music is playing on very low volume, Even I increased volume from 10 to 30, but still its not increasing, I restarted the phone, now its working fine.

But whats the issue is it a software bug?

Hmm, i had a problem similar to this. When i play some music and when i decrease the volume from 30 to something, the actual volume remains still at 30. But I found and heard that this problem was due to Nokia Music or Whatsapp API problem. But this problem has been fixed when the update for Whatsapp showed up. Now I never face this kind of problems because I don't use Nokia Music as the subscription is over and have uninstalled it and my Whatsapp is updated. So do you use Whatsapp and check whether its updated??

Whatsapp before its update used the default Music API of Windows Phone to make it available in background which resulted in some problems in Music Player. Now after the update, they stopped using the default Music API.

Thanks sharathu7 ... It works for me.
Earlier I was restarting the phone to adjust the volume key with default music player. But every restart I also have to set the Date and Time.
and after some time volume keys not works with default music player.

Does the volume button work for other areas of the phone and is the problem isolated to just the music player? If so you can try performing a soft reset by holding the volume down and power keys together for 12 seconds until the phone vibrates and reboots.

If that doesn't help you can reset the phone by going to Settings > About > Reset your phone. This will erase all user data on the phone and return it to factory defaults so it's important to backup your personal data first.

Can't say for sure, but at a guess it is the game software. I suspect it is storing the setting for the next time you use that game. A nice gesture, but only half-done. The programmer should have first saved the current setting as the game is starting up *and* before you need to change the volume, in anticipation of the user changing the volume. If it is changed during the game, when it closes it should reinstate it to where it was at the start. Probably a novice or worse, lazy programmer wrote the game :) Try emailing them and explaining the issue as they should be happy to fix that.

Just a guess, mind you.
