Volume too low

I'm running the latest build of Windows Phone 8.1, but I noticed this while still on 8.0 as well. The volume is way too low, at least compared to a lot of other phones I've used in the past. Any way around this?

It just seemed that everything was too low.. even with the levels at max... Seems better now.. could have just been me
