Juniper, Sonicwall & Checkpoint all have WP apps now. Nothing from Cisco for Anyconnect and my rep says they aren't even working on one. No WP support from Cisco at all. Very disappointing. This is a Cisco issue now, not Microsoft.

I am having to go back to hideous android. I can't use my win phone for any job related work. No Cisco VPN, and all the apps corporate makes, are available only for iPhone and android. Hopefully things will improve in a couple years to where I can come back to win phone.

I must say that I was excited when I learned that WP 8.1 would support VPN but I'm very disappointed with the outcome. Native support only for IKEv2 with very little add-on support for other standards is simply unacceptable and an example of why users flee the WP 8 platform. MS could at least write an installable driver for PPTP, which while not the best standard is still widely implemented. My home router supports only PPTP & OpenVPN but I have not found a way to establish a VPN connection using any of the available packages. I have to give Check Point credit for coming close but it still won't sync with my OpenVPN server. Most of the VPN packages are either for proprietary servers or just setup files for various VPN services. I know I might be able to establish a VPN connection to my Win7 PC but that would require that I open a pinhole through the firewall into my LAN, which I'd rather not do. This is one of the reasons why I plan to avoid WP phones next time around.

Well I wouldn't say no support from Cisco for WP, they have WebEx Meetings and Air provision apps on the store but you are right the lack of Anyconnect support is entirely a Cisco issue.
