Waiting Room for Windows 10 Mobile Build 10136

My wifi tethering is non-functional on my 1020 ATT, is that to be expected with 10080 or is it just my phone and I need to do a hard reset?

No tethering on mine either

My 10080 catastrophically failed suddenly yesterday, so no programs would load and wifi stopped functioning and stuff, so I downgraded to 8.1. Wow! It's so fast and things work! After 2 months on 10, 8.1 feels like the most amazing upgrade ever. I don't know if I'll go back to the 10 TP anytime soon, it's just so nice that things work. And I can finally use all the Band features I could never use before (I got the band after upgrading to the TP). Speed and Bluetooth finally working will be important things, so we'll see what 10136 brings. I do miss some features from 10, but there were more broken things than new things.

How is that atrocious? There is no more panorama, gone are the Metro crappy designs. If MS wants people to use the hamburger menu, then they better include the swipe from the left gesture. Otherwise, users will start complaining reaching the top left corner of the phone.

I don't see panoramas gone? I see a new hamburger menu being added along side them.

Hi All! I "was" on Windows 8.1 GDR2 on my Lumia 1520. I installed Windows Insider and did an update and now am on OS Version: 8.10.15137.148. I am posting because I do not know if this is the one we have all been waiting on...... thank you!

That is still gdr2 I think. It has 8.1 for the first #'s. Is it downloading anything else?

Hi I just want to ask. My 1520 is currently on 8.1.2, and build 10080 is ready for download. I've read that they'll take it down before 10136. And I'm planning to install build 10136 if feedback is okay and known bugs are bearable.

Will there be any conflict like I'll be forced to download 10080 since it was ready to download or it will search for another one and find build 10136 once it is ready?

Or is there any way I can stop 10080 from being ready to download?

i am on windows 8.1 and am really liking the cortana i long been missing on windows 10,and selection of multiple texts for deletion,the good battery life ,the fluid 8.1 in general and the call dialer that doesnot beep with every key i press and the OS that dont reset every minute and doesnt lag......i gonna hang to this 8.1 and i jus now realise how i took it for granted till i went to the DARK SIDE,don get me wrong i love windows 10,nyc office apps,and many features i jus hope 10136 is a wee bit stable then i can try it again....but for now its 8.1

Guys, I downgraded to Windows 8.1 on my Lumia 1520 on AT&T. Then installed the Windows Insider App and checked for the upgrades.

Currently my OS version shows 10.0.12562.84

This one is pretty smooth

how is multitasking ? how are notifications handled

Gah. Tried Lumia Repair, Windows Phone Repair... no luck. Looks like my 1020 is stuck on 10080 until 10145 at the earliest.

You can flash your phone using "Windows phone image designer". You can google it, i don't think i'm allowed to share, or you can pm me, and i'll guide you.

Hands up everyone who has down graded to 8.1 and likes it and now may not upgrade to 10136? Its so nice having a people app that works, a touch screen that doesnt randomly stop working at awkward moments, and working bluetooth again!

Just signed back into the insider after reflashing 8.1 and I am on 8.10.14219.341 now. Shouldn't I at least get GDR2 again or is not active right now because the fast ring is not provided with build 10136. Was on GDR2 the last time I was upgrading on build 10080 with my NL 920

It?s definitely easier with 8.1, no doubt. But i?m far too excited with new builts to wait for a version that is nearly finished. By the way i?m still waiting for a VPN implementation that works with out companys RAS-Servers. I have a slim hope that it will finally work with Windows 10 Mobile.

I did revert back to 8.1 on my Lumia 640 daily driver, also reverted the backup-920 now. Will test 136 on the 920 first, does not want a similar surprise-bad-build as the 080 was.

Mine too! It went berserk. This can't be a coincidence that people's phone's start acting up at the same time. I have a Lumia 1520, now I rolled back to 8.1 because 10080 completely broke yesterday.

No, the names of the applications are misleading. LSRT is for older Lumia Devices with Windows Phone 7. For HTC One and all Lumias with Windows Phone 8 or higher you Need WPRT.

Also at the same time, wprt was unable to detect my phone. I know it, because I tried it. So my recommendation is first try LSRT, if it doesn't see your Lumia then try WPSRT.

So far, I have tested LSRT with 920 and 930, and it works perfect.

Interesting. I plan to revert to 8.1 as soon as Gabe Aul confirms that 10134 is up an running. Maybe i have better luck with my 920.
