Want more battery

Just in case anyone's interested, I found a 1600 mAh battery on Amazon for the HTC inspire, desire HD, and surround. It has the same connections and dimensions as the OEM. I'm only on my second day with it so I don't know a usage pattern or anything, but I've been off the charger since 4:45 a.m. and I'm at 60-70%. I've done several texts, ran apps, browsed the web, and I'm posting this on it. No games so far, but I will in a minute. Just hope I don't fry my phone!

You won't fry your phone, but unless you had a good handle on your battery usage with the stock battery, it is going to be hard to properly evaluate this replacement. Going through an average day, you should wind up with somewhere between 0 and 30% "more" juice remaining than previously. That would be interesting data to share.

Once I stopped tinkering with my phone non-stop I was able to get through a 16 hour day with between 10-30% left at night (which is plenty, I had already ordered these before I leveled off). I'm gonna wait a week and see how it works then report back. It only cost $20 for 2 1600 batteries plus a charger so even if they're no better than stock I have two backups.
