Wanted: Windows Media Center Extender app for RT

Given that MS is basically abandoning WMC I doubt this will happen, but I would love to get a WMC Extender app for RT - or for it just to have extender built in.

I was looking at Win 8 upgrade choices today and it stated the following:

"Windows Media Center license sold separately"

Doesn't look like they have abandonded it completely. Just deploying it a different way. I will also need extender access if I upgrade to run PlayOn.

Yeah, not completely - but they've made it a separate license (like you said) and didn't really change anything from the WMC that is included with Windows 7 (though I've heard rumors that there are some bug fixes included) so I don't have much hope for its future. They even took the green button off the new 360 remote and now you have to go to your apps to launch it (at least they made it an 'app' though).
