So I'm wondering just how water this phone really is. Because I'd love to take it to the shower for music 🎶 I don't mean just to take it into the shower but to actually just leave it on the sink playing music while I'm showering. Do you the high humidity could actually damage the phone? I'm thinking of getting a Bluetooth waterproof receiver to put into the shower.

What do you all think? Thanks in advance.

Plz leave phone outside and Bluetooth inside, because the thing will have a range receiver.

It is no more waterproof than a standard non-treated phone.

I'm not sure about damage, but high humidity might not be desirable and could possibly trip the moisture sensors within, voiding your warranty.

If it were me, I don't have an issue with doing that to my phone, but then again my showers might not be long enough for a music setup to make sense. Nor do I think the vicinity will get as humid as some others.

I got one of those Bluetooth speaker things that came free with the Microsoft offer - Nokia MD12. I think that's the way to go ... Bluetooth. If you really hate your phone though, and want to replace it with the fancy Lumia with the bigger screen, then I reckon one of the best ways to justify a new phone is to take the 930 for a swim in the bath, rather than taking it for a shower.

You guys are right. I'll go for a bluetooth option. But is the Nokia MD12 waterproof? I searched for it, and it doesn't look to be so. Also, I have been taking longer showers as of recently. We just installed a waterfall and rain shower after remodeling the bathroom. It's quite relaxing... That's why I need music! To time myself not to take more than 2 songs. I once spent 25 minutes in the shower! Eek! haha. Well, to be fair, it was the first few showers in the new bathroom! haha.

Regardless, is the Nokia MD12 waterproof? Or can anyone recommend a bluetooth speaker that's appropriate for the shower? Thanks again everyone for your fast responses :)

There are USB and power inputs on phone...so...it's not a good idea to stay phone close to water..)

You guys area unit right. i am going to opt for a bluetooth possibility. however is that the Nokia MD12 waterproof? I explore for it, and it does not look to be therefore. Also, I even have been taking longer showers as of recently. we tend to simply put in a body of water and shower when transforming the toilet. It's quite quiet... that is why i want music! To time myself to not take quite two songs. I once spent twenty five minutes within the shower! Eek!
