Correction to my earlier post, I still can't log in. Will contact waze tomorrow. I uses it as a anon user and it was easy to use and fast. Fast resume worked well.
Menus feel like they are missing something, maybe its the lack of a profile / log in page.

I still can't downlaod the app from the e-mail that was sent w/ the Link to the store. I was accepted into the beta as well, I keep getting "Sorry, you don't have permission to download this app" error message

Those having problems downloading, I'm wondering if you guys are posting on the Waze Beta forum? No use posting here but Perlin should be able to help you on the beta forum. There's a thread dedicated to those having log in issues.

I signed up for the beta program, provided them with a nice resume and didn't get invited.

Now after reading some of the app store reviews on the beta version I think I may have been overqualified.

Any update on when this app will be released to the general public? Waze is one of the apps I want most for wp8. Tried installing from the store but said I didn't have permission to install it.

Would like to know this as well. What are the requirements to use/download the beta app? I have been waze royalty for years, I'd love to assist.

Just moved to the Nokia 1020, really the biggest issue I had with going to WP was no Waze lol, traffic rules your life in Northern Virginia, waze is a necessity here.

The last Waze software update in the store was July 24th 2013. That seems like a long time to go without a software update for a beta.
For those of us not in the beta, keep an eye on that date to see if the app is ever updated again.

I had a twitter reply from them on 24th July saying " We will be releasing a version in the future "... so im still crossing my fingers at the moment.

I'm hoping they are holding off to add the google functions....... One can hope. Really tho, if this doesn't come to WP, it's going to **** off a LOT of people. I bought the 1020 for the camera, I like the OS as well, but Microsoft really needs to pull their heads out of their arses and get the primary apps, or first comparable camera phone that lands on IOS....I'll be gone. I might even slog through that horrible android for the camera and the apps.

Microsoft has billions in the bank, start using it. I really find myself hoping that Elop will replace monkey boy very soon. Then WP will actually get where it needs to be. Mobile is the future.
