Okay got one computer to recognize my Lumia 810, after lunch GDR3 plans....

So i was looking at the stats here - yes, i'm still at work but feel like posting a ton right now - and it see that i avg 5.27 posts per day. BP averages 14.3 and Sahib averages 14.4.

I think i lack enough crazy to average 10+ posts per day...

Step by step guide for noobs like me to put GDR3 on their Lumia 810 phone:-)

10+ posts per day doesn't ALWAYS mean spamming. :p

Unfortunately I have Windows 7 laptops so it seems like I am out of luck, can anyone help me putting the GDR3 on my Lumia 810?

There aren't enough 810 users to give me thanks for that. All jokes aside, i no longer own a 810 to test this out anyways...

You don't need to do it through your computer. Just purchase your developer account and download the preview app on your windows phone. :)

One reason why I won't buy an Android phone (besides a Nexus) is the LONG process for updates. Especially, some Android phones that were announced at CES, like the Xperia Z1S, has Android 4.3 Jellybean, and not KitKat, even though KitKat was announced a few months ago.

Folks got GDR3 on my Lumia 810....it is on Step 3 of 6 right now, 56% completed. I will post a step by step guide on the 810 page by the end of the day.

The engineer for the companies have to make the changes for kitkat then have to go through the carrier then can be release.
