well in 10th grade my chemistry teacher taught us the shells....and when we reached 11th we got to know that was the wrong method and had to study a new method all over! :angry:

Well there are plenty of things we knew were correct but advances in technology allowed us to see the tiny bit of deviation from the original theory and as we don't make the rules we have to accept them.
Examples are understanding of light, gravity atoms etc
