Is Swiss German like American Spanish like splangish

I don't know. There are some really ancient Swiss dialects, they didn't just evolve from distance over a period of a few hundred years. I however don't know anything about Splangish, so it could be.

Spanglish is like talking in English but with some Spanish works ...IE " i was eating food pero it was not tasty ....ya sabes como soy ...something like that

Sahib was right, military time since all branches of the military use it. I was in the Navy and we certainly didn't refer to it as army time.

Sorry. Been some time since I referred to it as anything but 'time'.
