Feeling quite happy this morning - after my barrage of sarcasm yesterday I log back in today to find 24 likes on my posts along with a couple of thanks.

Also its Friday - Its Payday and ive got a short day followed by a weekend with my little girl.

Ooo a fellow poker player - You played in Vegas yet Laura? Went to the WSOP about 5 years ago now - didn't play in any bracelet events just hit the cash tables.

I haven't played in WSOP, but I've been to Vegas and played poker.

I've also played and won in a few local charity parish poker tournaments, plus I've played cash games at charity events and at the Horseshoe Casino here.

I haven't played in WSOP, but I've been to Vegas and played poker.

I've also played and won in a few local charity parish poker tournaments, plus I've played cash games at charity events and at the Horseshoe Casino here.

Excellent - Ive never really won much money off of tournaments I play too loose. Going to Vegas next year for a couple of days. Really looking forward to going there again.

Had one hell of a drive to the ferry this morning. Rain, rush hour traffic, road works. But we made it. It's our first time taking our car. Should be interesting.

Had one hell of a drive to the ferry this morning. Rain, rush hour traffic, road works. But we made it. It's our first time taking our car. Should be interesting.

After using the Eurotunnel to take my car across don't think I could every use the ferry again.

Zombie games and games with zombie modes...

Why hasn't anyone come out with a reverse zombie game? You play as someone in a city with an infection that you have to spread by attacking people and you've got 7 days to cause an epidemic before the town gets nuked.

Reckon that would be pretty cool - at the start of the game you would have to use lots of stealth to avoid being caught when spreading an infection and gradually building up your zombie followers keeping them out of sight and causing single infections until you have enough to unleash on the city.

I love ferries

My computer is already here, soon I can move back to my office place with the great view and use Windows on a fast machine with a gorgeous new 24 inch screen. Just need my login fixed by the IT guys.

That's always the way - get lovely new hardware then have to wait days for IT to sort out your account and emails. You might be productive by Tuesday if you're lucky

He told me he would come back this afternoon, and if not I will further use the old Mac of my colleague. She will be still away next week.

I just don't really like OS X, even after multiple days of productive use.
