My girlfriend works on Pseudomonas, they don't eat oil however, she works on bacteria infecting patients suffering from cystic fibrosis.

A friend of mine works on Pseudomonas that form a symbiosis with plants.

The Arkham series of batman games are actually pretty realistic. The suit in the newest game was mainly what I was taking about. But the Batmobile doesn't seem like too impossible of a thing to be real.
