So with alli the tech talk going on.

I see things like this -

With Apple, though I personally don't want their gear I will give them credit for doing two things.
1. Making tech cool and bringing smartphones to the masses.
2. Two creating a market for smartphones

Without those two things happening we wouldn't be enjoying the tech we have now.

With Android, I give them credit for creating real competition when Nokia was asleep at the wheel. With that I give Samsung credit for being the driver.

With Nokia, I give them credit for starting the idea of smartphones as personal devices. They were, in my opinion, the company that made the idea of smartphones useful.

Lastly with Microsoft, I give them credit for creating a one size fits all OS which should be better than it has been.
