WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

re: WC 100K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Our photocopier is making a noise that sounds like birds chirping and it's really annoying. Especially when a large print job is going.

Hopefully they come to fix it soon. :/

Office photocopy machine story time...

So I was working at a foster care agency once. It was my first day, and I was all nervous and ****. As I was getting the grand tour of the place that morning, one of the parent advocates pulled me to the side and said "let me show you something you need to know". So he brings me to the copy machine and there's a paper jam. He says "watch this" and opens up the machine and starts explaining the temporary fix. There was a part that was broke and of course mgmt was to cheap to get it fixed so a rubber band got the call of duty to hold things down. It was the first time I was using a copy machine like this, so I listened intently.

By mid afternoon, I had to make some copies and sure enough, there was a paper jam. So I flung the copy machine door open and starting to fix it as was shown to me earlier. As I was done, with toner marks lining my shirt sleeve cuffs, the same advocate passed by, laughed and said "welcome aboard...now you're one of us."

Ever since that day, there's never been a copy machine paper jam I'm afraid of clearing...

Funny story. :)

We have a special team that takes care of the photocopiers and when they can't fix it they get in the repair people. We only have one multifuction copier/printer per floor, which is a bit risky if you ask me for such a big office but I guess they thought if one on one floor goes you have another floor you can go to.

I used to fix the jams at other places I've worked. This is the first place that I tend to leave things alone as they have all these specialist teams and I just don't want the hassle any more. :P

Smart idea. Let others get those I pleasant ink toner stains.

Morning folks (officially).

Got a workshop off site today with one of my favorite community partners. So I've decided to wear a pink dress shirt to do a workshop with the adolescent males by design...let's see how this move plays out...

99, Rue, I think you may find this to a nice review. Personally, I like the copper Z3 and the mint green Z3 Compact as the best looking of the bunch...

It's a good review. Similar to others I've read. The two biggest issues that I have with it are the camera and the glass body. The camera appears to be ok but the glass body is a bit of a worry. Not sure what I think of that at this moment. Saying that, they have amazing battery life. MS should take note.

I thought pink was still in? Or is it a EU thing? Most wouldn't bat an eye here. :P Then again most don't bat an eye at much here. :P

re: WC 100K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Most people here wouldn't care if you wore pink, although they might call it salmon to make themselves feel better lol.

The 'usual' is blue shirt. Sometimes it might be striped or checkered. Then you get some flashy colours usually by younger crowd.

I wouldn't mind wearing pink .... Only if it matched what I was wearing. Then again I wouldn't wear anything that doesn't match ._.

Matching is whatever the current trend is. :P I've seen some pretty horrible 'matches' in my time.

There's worse.... much worse...

I'm still coming to terms with the 'showing your underwear' to the world trend that's come back in for the guys. I've seen on what can only be described as the wrong people.

Yep. I thought was wrong in the 90s and I think it's wrong now. :P Unfortunately it's trendy at the moment, along with the tight pants and beards.
