So I grabbed my GF's son's first gen iPad to take some side by side comparison pics... Wow! the iPad has really come a long way since the first one... lol really seems like a dinosaur compared to the new Air 2!

Well obviously they had not yet figured out how to make stuff thin. That, and if you remember, the original iPhone was curved on the back like that.. albeit plastic.
