If you've ever gone to the update site you can see for yourself all the different firmwares. It's a very long list.

What are you afraid of? Make a private profile and just follow people you like. Just means you only invite people to your profile that you want.

No one has to know it's you. Then you can change it the future when you're ready.

I think there is this misconception with social media that it's all or nothing. There are tonnes of settings in Facebook to keep things private.
