At 6" the phone tends to get too wide. I think 5.7" is the sweet spot. This coming from someone who has sampled the following large devices:
OnePlus One, iPhone 6+, Samsung Note II, Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, LG G3 and Nexus 6. Of all these devices, the LG, OPO and Xiaomi felt the best in hand. The worst was Nexus 6 - too wide at least for my hands, followed closely by the iPhone 6+ - really big bezels...

Talkman or 950 = $429

Should offer them at those prices, unlocked from Microsoftstore.com.
They should be able to sell 'dem apples then...

One would argue that the OP 2 is cheaper but it has no Qi charging, cameras aren't comparable, no NFC, and no qHD. So the difference in price is justified by MSFT, plus no stupid invite to buy the phone...

I'm thinking that pricing is absolutely key on these devices, too. I'd go so far as to say $399 for the XL and it would sell quite well, and most people wouldn't make a huge deal about aesthetics.

$399 is too low. I'd go $399 for the smaller one (950) with $499 for the bigger screen (XL) and a bundle of some free service.

They need to also upgrade the 830. Keep the same specs (16GB on board storage +2GB RAM) - upgrade the chip to an 808 or 805, put the 930's camera on it and sell that for $300...with all the US bands.

And market the **** out of it.

As long as the price is reasonable and in this ball park area I think it'll be a success. However we all know that MS's biggest weakness has been getting carriers to actually sell their devices. If they can see this unlocked through the MS store with a gigantic marketing push globally we should be all set.

Finally got my Z3 back! :) Unfortunately the tempered glass is at work but I'm sure I'll be fine until Tuesday... I hope.

I heard a radio ad the other day talking about Windows Phones and the Surface 3 on AT&T. I was quite surprised! A good 60 seconds or more!
