The commute from Pre-Hell happened! Massive delays due to tunnel obstruction at NY Penn station. I would have take a picture of the sea of humanity, but it would have caused a fight.
No class for me...headed home whenever I get there. Just used up my 2nd absence of the semester for this class...here's hoping I don't use up another next week...

So MSFT is the last to make their big announcement. I think I'll buy some icepacks in preparation of Lumia fans jumping off the bridge or banging heads against walls in frustration over the high prices of these new phones...

Not too impressed by what I saw from Google today. Good hardware, interesting offerings...yes. Earth shattering? Nope. I don't expect much from the cameras...maybe NY Nexus camera expectations are on my with my expectations of MSFT getting the pricing right for its flagships. Everyone for different needs, but outside of the G4, no hardware I've seen launched for this year is really better than my Moto maxx or z3. And the G4 is better in the camera department than my current two, but otherwise...not so much.
I'm happy with my choices. Even Sony's Z5 line isn't as appealing to me. I'd probably take the Z5 camera in the Z3 body, but otherwise...I think hardware innovation in terms of wow factor has passed its golden age.

I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on a 6S+ ...waiting for this Oct 6th thing to come and go first.. and for somebody to try to talk some sense into me!

Good luck. They guy I know that works for MS won't budge on any info because of his strict NDA. But he did tell me that the Surface Pro 4 is waaaaaay more than anyone is expecting.

If the 640XL fire sale unlocked for $299 is any indication then I am fairly convinced that MSFT is going to mess up the pricing. The only saving grace might be a free Continuum device.

So spec for spec, the new Nexus 6P looks very similar to the 950XL's, but without wireless charging, removable battery, expandable storage, and what else? Oh yeah, the whole Windows 10 and continuum thing. I do have high hopes for MSFT's announcements on the 6th. Not too concerned with the prices.. Just hope they have a few tricks left up their sleeves.

Wouldn't it be cool if they announced a high end x86 Intel based flagship phone on the 6th? Something that makes these 950/950XLs look "midrange"? Think about it, there is not one single piece of leaked info on the Surface Pro 4 anywhere to be found. What if MSFT threw us a curve ball, and these 950 phones are just a decoy. (These are high hopes here.. And my imagination running wild lol)
