WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I went to a car show today.

There were lots of nice cars, but the sunlight conditions weren't great at the time of day, so I couldn't get a lot of pictures.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

So I purchased the Doom DLC for $14.99 on Steam yesterday and noticed the usual sales on other games.. Ended up also purchasing C.O.D. Black Ops III for $29.99. I think I have a problem! I need help!

I'm going in to take the Security+ exam tomorrow... I hope I don't bomb it!

Nice pics. Looks like your MX PE did a good job here.

Got a small cake for the wife's birthday but that didn't stop me from going overboard.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I think I've gotten to that point hardware wise, at least for Android, that there isn't as much fun in changing devices anymore. Because of the uniformity in hardware performance on the SoC level, it's now about what combination of hardware being packaged.

The differences between the Maxx and Mi 5 aren't as significant as they would appear. I get same battery life between both so far. Remember, the Maxx is pushing a qHD AMOLED screen with a 3900mah battery on a S805 chip, whereas the Mi 5 is pushing a 1080P LCD panel with a S820 chip on a 3000mah battery.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

So since I'm here, I'll do a comparison and publish the Mi 5 review in a few days.

Maxx over Mi 5:

1) High res screen
2) Bigger battery
3) Wireless charging
4) Better radios for data

Mi 5 over Maxx:

1) Sightly battery camera
2) Design (phone is Galaxy S2 like in terms of weight)
3) Fingerprint reader

Ties:

1) Battery life
2) Software experience, as both have useful add-ons
3) Audio quality

Xiaomi did a really nice job with the Mi 5. But honestly, if Moto had done better software support with the Maxx and tuned the camera little better, i wouldn't have picked up the Mi 5.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

So, I've finished those tests for my driver's licence, passed them with 98% of correct answers I believe, as well as first aid, which took like 2 minutes to complete. All I need to do now is get a pair of glasses and I'm good to actually sit in a car and learn how to drive it.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

What else is there to say. I totally missed my free Win10 upgrade, wanted to do it on the last day, got invited to a birthday party and didn't manage to get it.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I also want to say that this summer sucks. It sucks as much as few summers before it, and we had floods then. So, yes, it's awful. It's like 3 days of 35?C+ and a sudden rain and a drop to below 10?C. Had only one day of swimming, and school's in 4 weeks.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Word recommendations will improve over time. Google has had about 4 years of my typing habits/data so it is not a problem for me. However, MSFT WordFlow was better out of the box. Swype is good in Google Keyboard but yes WP has a better Swype keyboard IMO. However, the WP8.1 keyboard was better than the Win10 keyboard.

I actually like WM10's keyboard more than 8.1's.

Looks like no one's here at the moment, I'm off to listen to Tool and then right to bed
