So, having had so much fun with the V20 camera and needed a kick in the butt to do this, I've decided to launch two photography based blogs.

Nothing major, just casual unedited shots focusing on landscape and food.

Once everything is up and running, I may post links here.

And by far the best wide angle shot so far is of the Flatiron building in NYC. Taken from a mere 10 ft from the building.

A few observations after using the Pixel versus the S8.

1. Bezels are huge on the Pixel.
2. One handed use is easier with the Pixel.
3. Dat screen in the S8 and total amount of real estate is cool.
4. I like typing on the Pixel better simply because I think the curved tempered glass screen protectors for S8 are garbage.

I see lots of people in the Android space are awaiting Nokia's return.

Good luck, as I don't think they'll move the needle as much as many hope. I'm sure HMD and Zeiss will come with some nice cameras, but they've got a lot of OEMs to climb over.

Agreed. I am not holding my breath to purchase a decently specced Nokia device.

In other news, I might be able to pick up a OP5. Should be interesting.

Another pit stop, I see. You sure your brother wouldn't like the OP5 over the Mi6?

His screen size sweet spot is 5" so no.
Mi 6 didn't quite pan out for him.
I'm thinking of getting him an Exynos S7 Dual SIM device.

That's unfortunate. Mi6 appears to me a nice device. What do think was bigger in that case - Mi5 or S7 (obviously S7 is better but I was asking more in of compact).

S7 and Mi6 are actually quite comparable in size.
The Mi6 though is slipperier than an eel.

I wish I was having a better summer, but patience is currently required.

This I can relate to.

Summer is practically over and I feel like it's been a waste.

Of course, there's reasons behind that... A couple of large reasons.

Looking forward to my trip soon.
