Working with seniors had reminded me of the importance if enjoying the ability to be able to do your independent daily living tasks (getting dressed, showering, grocery shopping, clothes shopping, going to the bank, doing laundry, preparing your own meals, etc.)
Cannot say I ever took these really for granted as I don't mind doing them, but when one is clinically concerned about someone else's ability to do those same tasks, it does keep things in perspective...
