That thought did cross my mind today. But only a couple of times. Actually there were more instances where I wish I could have zoomed in. I am actually thinking of getting a really good point and shoot with about 6-8X optical zoom to supplement a good smartphone in 2018 than carrying the bulky SLR.

We hiked to Tokopah Falls in Sequoia National Park today. Had a nice lunch while enjoying the view of the Sierras and the frozen waterfall.

We also hiked the Congress trail to Alta trail visiting the General Sherman tree along with a whole bunch of other magnificent giant Sequoia trees on our way to the Giant Tree Musuem.

I got the chance to see them a few years ago. They are truly magnificent how old and huge they are.

This is a random post of yours that I chose to quote but I'm glad that you were able to decide on places to go and have a good time going to these locations. Also amazing pictures by the way.

Yesterday, me and my family, my mom's good friend with her sister's son and my brother-in-law's sister and her son came over and we were finally able to watch the wedding.

We just got engrossed in it, appreciating, laughing and commenting about different things (and people). Since there was SO many people, us watching the videos was the first time we could really see everyone and also the first time we can see the other sides of things. It was great for us to do that and weird to watch myself, but I was OK with how I did haha. I love seeing all of the joy though.
