What an evening. I somehow told 2 friends my sexuality. Never expected to do that, it just happened. Surprisingly enough, 1 of them knew the term already.

Other things were discussed too but that's all I'll say.

I have nothing against rain at all. However it's a bit inconvenient at the moment and it's slowing us down on our renovations. Also preventing us from planting anything as our fields are waterlogged.

Anyway, we'll get there eventually...

My wife shares the same b'day as ya @LaRue!!
Took her to nice place for lunch and obligatory slice of choc cake too!!

Went to a Indian streetfood place for a dosa. The chef is really nice. He's Sri Lankan but worked at top restaurants in India

He was nice and got me a birthday treat.

Also Bordeaux hosts a lot of events and we just happen to be going at a time when they have a bunch of restaurants doing this event. We went to a Korean Japanese place was really good.

Also Bordeaux has a wine museum! For those who like wine.

Was a good day but lots more to explore in Bordeaux. We plan to make it a regular visit.

We also meet some nice people at the dosa place which we hope to meet up with again.

Happy birthday to your wife! June 1st is always a good day for me. Even when it's the first day of winter in Australia.

Aw that's awesome! Sounds like a perfect combo of good food, good place to be and good company. What a nice way to celebrate your birthday!

You probably know what I'll ask next, which is, how does it feel to celebrate your birthday there? I mean France in general here, considering that I vaguely recall you celebrating your birthday differently last year?

I usually go away for my birthday and my wife's and our anniversary. We like to travel.

Celebrating in France is good. I didn't make a big thing out of it this year.

Ah okay. I thought you went somewhere but I couldn't remember.
