Looks like the latest Windows update may have messed up the GF's computer...this is one headache I didn't need. SMH.

Ugh Windows updates can be annoying with messing up things. I hope you'll be able to fix it.

Especially since I was all set to transfer some music onto the new card. I'd curse but it don't help. Just gotta figure it out.

Thank you, I did! I squealed when he spotted me, which is kinda embarrassing but that was my first reaction

I had an ex who used to do that squealing bit. It was embarrassing, but when she cared about me it was somewhat endearing.

Good luck. I remember spending all night reinstalling Windows Vista when I got a black screen error and needed my PC for school.

Well, finances aside, I have to be careful where I look for other reasons. The road to the new middle class is filled with crazy obstacles. Sometimes I wonder if I will fully get there. It's still early days yet, so I'll keep at it.

I understand to some extent. I've never quite grasped the USA life style thing. The appeal of the USA was never there for me.

Currently we're dealing with a bank account that's slowly dwindling. Reduces the ability to do certain things. Action is needed and I'm hoping something from all that's going on comes to some sort of fruition.

There's Plan B through to Plan E but don't want to get to E...

Wow that it's been a year already! How does it feel? It seems like a lot happened in this first year from what I remember.

Yes plenty had happened and not all of it good but you live and learn.

On the whole it's been good and different.

I'm hoping for a better year this year.

For some reason my Tapatalk notifications have died on the Mate 10 Pro which is my current daily device till the Pixel 3 shows up.

Off to Boston tomorrow and then to San Jose, CA next week. Looks like I might be able to set up the Pixel 3vonly sometime late next week.

They've been more cluster**** than usual it seems.

Which would leave me to rant on why these tech companies get to put out beta like software and consumers don't roast them for it.
