So baby 45 is in the UK today. Not only has his remarks prior to leaving the US have caused a stir, he's just landed and has already insulted the mayor of London.

I'm sure this is just the beginning.... He's on form. Just waiting for some more mess ups on his part like the last time. I can only imagine what his speech will be next to the Queens'. Not that I have much respect for her but at least she can speak in sentences and won't be the painful mess that his is.

Ah well. Here's hoping that he's out next year. Just hope the Dems make the right choice and say the right things. Would be nice to see a semi-normal USA.

I respect the idea behind the Pixel 3A. I just think Google screwed the pooch with the Pixel 3. Wish they had just gone 6+128/6+256 (XL) or 6+128 and 8+128 (XL). Hell, I would have taken 6+64 and a 6+128 (XL).

That way they could have gone 4+64 and 4+128 for the 3A and 3AXL.

So seriously, how the F does Google plan to sell the Pixel 4?

I'm expecting 6GB RAM, punch hole camera, IDFS, UFS3.0 storage, dual cameras. As minimums. Use the same lenses, go to 1.8F aperture, do a crazy software zoom for blur and telephoto (that gives a good g camera port base). Or give a bare bones, very limited manual mode focusing on zoom and blur.

They need something ELSE. They come with that single rear camera ****/4GB RAM/64GB and 128GB ROM only again, it's DOA. The camera and software experience and dual speakers cannot be your only features.

I connected my work email to the work phone, so we will see what happens.

I think my Android account was what I used to use for Apple, but it's been so long that I don't remember. Once my hard drive lost all my adult apps I used to have, iOS got less interesting.

So let me get this straight:

In order to use my credit, which is a lot actually, as someone who doesn't have any Apple products have to buy an iPhone (which I would need an active sim to activate which is additional $), buy an iPad or buy Apple tv (which doesn't work for me since old tv is really old). The iPod touch is also an idea but I'm not watching a movie on that small thing, why would I do that?

I hate this but I hate letting all of that credit go to waste so I'll have to do one of these. It's looking like an iPad is likely in my future. I could only convert the current music I have to mp3, which fixes that but only that.

I guess Apple's announcements are today. I skimmed...outside of Watch OS, and iPad OS, nothing interested me.

I used to want iPhone for S&G. If I got one for that purpose, it would still be the OG X or the 8. But since I use the 6S daily for work, I don't need to scratch that itch, as I get to see what annoys me about iOS firsthand.

Still, with Apple redoubling its efforts to keep its users chained to their ecosystem, I wonder how Google will respond. I think it's criminal what's happened with Android tablets. If I were to be truly objective, the only iOS device I'd own personally is an iPad - especially with the new changes.

True, I agree with you on this. To me, they just messed this up big time. I thought it was bad before with the ecosystem trap but now it's just like you (general you) chose to keep yourself locked in with buying media from Apple. I'm disappointed.

I'm not surprised it's such a trap. Being platform agnostic is one of the hardest things to do. Everyone (Apple, Google, Samsung, Amazon, MSFT), wants to trap as many people as possible into their respective ecosystems.

People trade choice for convenience all the time, but complain when convenience becomes less convenient and their choices are now subsequently restricted.

Nope, I'm Windows all the way lol.

You totally have more music than me, I'm sure of it. When I started college to probably 2014ish, I bought albums and singles from iTunes. The iPod touch would be just fine for me with base storage.

I tried and I can't unfortunately. It's basically App store/in purchase credit. Funnily enough, having the touch is amusing but that would probably be the cheapest thing to do. Now I'm actually thinking about this but I don't know. I need to find out when itunes will stop working.

As long as you are comfortable with managing everything manually, being platform agnostic can work.

All these companies to me are about the same. It feels like picking between various shades of the same color.
