Nah, say what you want about W but he didn’t stand on a corner in Lower Manhattan and throw rolls of Bounty at New Yorkers after 9/11. As dumb as he was, as aloof as his daddy was and as cold as Jeb was while Governor of my “beloved” Flori-Duh, I truly believe in my heart of hearts that they were decent human beings. This current POS couldn’t hold a candle to W. He certainly couldn’t forge the relationship W has with Michelle Obama. That alone speaks volumes.

There's a whole bunch of things I could say to show how bad Bush Jr was while in office. Again mostly a puppet of the ruling GOP as well but he is no saint. Keep in mind the base the supports 45 is the same base that supported him and pretty much felt the same way about him. Bush Jr could do no wrong.

Maybe he's lightened up as he's gotten older but while in office he was just as bad and I have little doubt would have done similar things. It just may have come across differently.

45 has been a horrible human being for a long time to no one's surprise except those who felt he meant 'change' not realising how bad that change was going to be for them.

I don't think any GOP politician is a nice person and the people who vote them is a reflection of the those people. Whether they like that reflection or not is a different thing. I know there's a voting mentality in the USA that is just ridiculous.

I guess that's the difference though of going to another country and travelling by plane to get there. There's a certain journey and experience to it.

Still, I'm sure once I'm back it will be like I never left.... :/

Taking a break from the farm...it has been exhausting, almost like endless aerobics gym sessions but with bugs, mosquitos and weaver ant bites !!
Will be long 8-10 hour drive to Tawau, hopefully the weather will be nice and dry.

We have red alerts and record breaking high temperatures here.

Few people have aircon.

It's not good.

Today was 38C (100F) It will be 42C (107F) here tomorrow.

This is not normal.

Yep. It already is. Keep in mind lots of people live in small apartments in cities with pretty poor airflow.

Main concern is for elderly people.

This was us over the past weekend. I was calling all my senior clients and folks with reduced ambulation and chronic health challenges to check in to ensure they had a plan to manage the heat.

And in typical NYC fashion part of the electricity went down at one point. All sorts of **** be busted here recently. Sigh.

I'm curious about the state of affairs for Huawei. I think it was still a good time to have bought and kept the Mate 20 Pro, but the saltiness I've had about them still lingers.

It's a great case of how complicated human ambition can be. And also a great case of how destructive fear can be as well.

I'll still keep and enjoy my phone. It's just good to understand what the back story is behind the products we use as consumers.

Sure enough the new 9.1 update is there via OTA. I'm going to check the G7+, but I'm not holding out hope - even though I can manually flash it.
