WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Well, you'll figure it out. Or you'll use another app, that's all.

I digged to quote this to say that I went back to the app I used previously. I have learned that they have added more filters to the experience and outside of the standard filters, you get some free ones. I chose some top ones. We'll see what happens but I am pleased with the number of individuals that fit it...even though a good amount have been younger than me. The 2 filters I have selected are things I have talked about before so you might be able to guess them.

As for the app that started the original post, I still have it but I'm having too many out of state people reaching out to me so I don't check it much.

I'm glad the previous app is working better for you with the new filters. Perhaps the one that is bothersome will improve in the future.

I went to the grocery store last night to get hemp milk and oat milk (one small one of each, that is) and I couldn't get the former. It is sold at Target but none of the two in the area that I have access to (the closest is a 25 minute drive). The grocery store I go to has it if you are shopping online but it wasn't present there at all.

It makes me wonder if they just assume that people in this area don't care for hemp milk. There is an organic grocery store and they should have it. I'll have to explore it to find out if they do or not. I think Rue said that hemp milk had an interesting kind of taste, I should have taken a screenshot of his great post of alternative milks. It's just said to have the most nutrients, aside from soy milk.

Anyway, I got oat milk and using it in 7 days is on lol. Tried it in tea today and I liked it actually. Previously, I had it in hot chocolate at cafes/coffee places only.

That's cool. I'll have to give oat milk a try sometime. I've had soy milk and almond milk previously, but not any other alternative milk products. I'm curious which alternative milk product tastes the most like cow's milk.

I cook a lot with pea milk.

Cooking, I use coconut milk
Cereal, I like soy milk
Haven't really tried the others much. A bit of rice milk and oat milk here and there.

How's that? I saw it in the store. My uses are cereal, oatmeal (ha with with oat milk), and milk with tea when it fits. I use pea protein in smoothies because I hate the taste of whey.
Been cooking with it for years so I adjusted. The GF has tried all the milks 99 and others listed and prefers pea milk and almond milk as the top two in that order.

I've drank it a long time ago so I forgot how it tastes (it's OK to me in taste). We both don't drink milk only, just use it as an additive to stuff. When I drink coffee on weekends I use almond milk based creamer and pea milk based half and half. I prefer that to the traditional variants. Pea milk has the creaminess she likes. Made some mash potatoes this week with vegan (non soy) butter and pea milk and it was just as creamy as the regular variant.

These days I don't drink milk solely as I know I'm not supposed to drink traditional milk. I just cook with the pea milk and keep it moving.

Gotta clothesline you one of these days to teach you to tackle and throw the ol' pigskin around...
Just for the record. Using American terminology.

I have played and know the rules (for the most part) of the following sports:

Ice hockey, street hockey, soccer, baseball, football, tennis, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, handball (team), handball (using wall), netball and golf.

Others track sports, 8 ball, 9 ball, billards using cards, snooker, several card games, darts and bowling.

I can iceskate, rollerskate, rollerblade and ride a bike. I've even tried crosscountry skiing.

I may have missed a few things.

My objection to sports is not the skills or the athletes or even the owners of the club's or that they get paid well. Well maybe they get paid too much...

My objection is the lies about the positive aspects of it for the community. Sports returns very little considering it's popularity and finances.

I also object to the fact that in schools sports is often put first to the detriment of everything else.

That's my objection.

As for milk. My wife is allergic to milk so we've tried everything. I also have an issue with soy.

So we drink oat milk as it's the most bland and close to milk in flavour.

Hemp I can't drink.. I don't mind rice but too watery. Almond if done right is good but only in certain foods or drinks. Same for coconut.

I haven't tried pea milk.
