WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Big Sugar is the most severe plight to Floridians, worse than Big Oil. Many in the US are not aware of the Red Tide issues in the Gulf Coast but a quick Google search may leave you breathless as to the size and scope of the problem. Not just the environmental disaster, the corruption involved.
The show did get into the political corruption that allows Big Sugar to continue to harm the environment and to exploit workers. It's shameful and worse than mob extortion.

Is MSFT leaks improved designs and improvements over the next year prior to launch, people will remain interested.

Going by the hard core WPs fans, they're not overly happy about the Duo not having Windows X. But then nothing short of a 'Surface Phone' will satisfy these people.

I guess we'll have to wait for the finished product, which makes one wonder why bother showing and unfinished product.

Apparently MS has teamed up with Canon? At least someone mentioned it. If true that could be interesting.

@N_LaRUE I am watching a Netflix series called "Rotten". It's about all the dirty deeds in the food and beverage industries: exploitation of workers, extortion, fraud, etc.

I watched the episode about the wine industry in France and had no idea how cutthroat that business is.

I'm not sure if you have Netflix, or if this show is available outside the USA, but it is quite eye-opening.

I don't have Netflix anymore unfortunately.

Nothing really surprises me about the food industry in the USA (or other countries).

I'm not a huge drinker in general but I'm not surprised by the wine industry being cut throat here. Though there are lots of producers here and there are many small producers. So it's sort of finding what suits you.

On the whole a lot of people who grow grapes don't produce wine. They work in collectives. They get paid a set price for their grapes in general. I think Italy is similar.

I'm not a huge fan of the wine industry or alcohol industry in general. Nor the soft drinks industry. The all use huge amounts of resources for what is essentially a non essential product.

How was the Impossible Burger?

If the Impossible Burger makes it way here I may try it. I believe it's soy based and I kind of have an issue with some soy products.

The Beyond Burger is pea protein so I'm good so far. I've tried some pea protein products in the past that didn't go down too well. Thankfully not an issue.

Big Sugar, Big Meat and dairy, Big palm oil, Big soy and Big corn and in general, Big fast food and 'produced' products.

All are major issues for the environment and our health. Exploitation of workers is a given considering the extreme low costs of these 'food items'.

So yesterday I was in Paris and went to the Pompidou Centre. It's a modern and contemporary art museum. I'm not a huge fan of the art but it was free. There's also a great view of Paris from there which is free to access.

That peanut gallery didn't buy enough WP units to keep it from not running Android, so...

Curious to hear your take on pea milk if and when you ever get to try it.

I came here for more chateaux pictures and walked away utterly disappointed.

(Nice shots overall)
Probably won't be going near a chateau until next spring.

The weather here has gone cold and rainy. One of the main features of most chateau is the garden and autumn isn't the best time for them.

So expect pictures of Paris and other towns. We're planning to go to a couple of Xmas markets this year.

What I find amusing is that there are people going on about the Duo not having Windows X. As if it's somehow gained popular status already and is full of things people want...

Truth is most won't buy the Duo. Not because it has Android on it but because it's going to cost close to $2000 (or more). Even if it did have Windows X on it they still wouldn't buy it at that price.

These 'fans' want a pocket PC. No one else really does. Nice idea but way too niche.

Let's not forget that Android still suffers with apps not being available on it's platform. Why would developers cater to Windows?

At the airport, .... HCMC here I come. Gonna be an exciting 10 days.. Hope to post a couple of photos here...
