WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I've come to a conclusion...

Artists shouldn't do AirBnB.

This is the second long term I've rented that was done by an artist. It generally looks good but completely impractical.

Basically the furniture is expensive but useless. Not sure who it:s for...

The kitchen.. where do I start...

And instead of fixing the creaky floors they left them.

The bed makes more noise than the floors.

Then there's the dehumidifier...

The internet... Ugh...

Sigh.

People can argue with me if they want but I personally don't think GSuite is suitable for a large company.

Sounds like the neighbors will get to know who you are as you're moving around in the space normally and they're thinking it's this with all that noise:

I'm curious why you say that. At my institution, which is a university, we use Office365. Everything is Microsoft, including Teams. At another one, they use GSuite. Different institutions use either or.

I think it's just that I'm used to Office 365. I also didn't like Lotus Notes either. Especially when you don't have the latest version.

To me it all feels clunky.

I'll get it over it. It just doesn't seem professional to me. Just perception I think. I'm sure there's some advantage I don't know about.... ?

Ahh that's a lot going on where you're at. I hoped for you to find a place but even more now with these conditions.
It's not a big deal just what you have to deal with.

Sadly the place we're in was the 'best' we could find at the time. All the rest looked pretty dire.

We can hear the owner walking around too.

Unfortunately pictures don't tell you everything and to keep using Airbnb you need to be careful what you say.

Such is life.

Everything I see is B grade - as in lateral moves that aren't worth the cost of sell and resale game.
There will be a few additions likely made (Mi Mix, Pureview), but nothing earthshattering is out there, really. Market is too mature, brand loyalty is too toxic and my tastes are too specific.

Oh, well...

I got cases for my Mi devices today. Hopefully they will show up soon. I chose USA based vendors. Not waiting for stuff in slow boat from China.

I think the itch is just having used 3 LG's in a row (broken up by the Mate) and visually wanting to see something different. It's not a rational thing, just a knee-jerk type reaction.

Spending the afternoon in the hospital... the missus had the chemo-pod removed, the procedure went smoothly and all is well. She'll be discharged in a couple of hours...
It has been six years, and time flew past really quick.

May she have a speedy recovery. I'm glad that everything went well. I hope she'll remember to take it easy.

I am traveling for vacation this early morning with a group! I have been looking forward to it.

Sounds very positive!

Good to hear.
