WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Hi all. So I've finally bitten the bullet and come to the end of my journey with my S8+ - I've done what I swore I wouldn't ever do and actually pre-ordered a phone. The S20 Ultra. Roll on 28 March which is when I should receive it.

Yeah doing well - vying for a promotion at work which I really hope will pan out in the middle of the year. Still enjoying the work and the people I'm working with which is the main thing.

The S8+ was just feeling a little tired and someone at work wants to buy it from me which was enough of a push to make me want to treat myself for an Ultra. I've got it through the upgrade programme so I have the option to upgrade next year if its a big leap or if something about it bothers me too much (like the Fingerprint sensor being under the screen, which I'm hearing mixed things about).

So I'm really enjoying the Fiil T1x. I have found a nice balance if I don't want to deal with the excellent noise canceling on the commute - just use one ear only. Noise canceling is good enough where that ear isn't fully compromised. The ear hooks seem to be holding up well so far.

I like when I buy stuff and they "just work". The app enhances it but it's not mandatory - that's the best part for me.

I went for the black cos my current S8+ is grey plus I didn't really like the exact colour they went for - black and grey is a bit boring but the black seems to be the best of the two to my eyes.

Hope you get that promotion. Glad to hear you're enjoying the people yoh work with - that certainly helps.

I'm curious about your thoughts on the Ultra. The S8+ was pretty solid in its own right. Hope you get a nice price for it.

Funny enough, not everyone does black well. I still feel that Sony's piano black is the gold standard...

My goodness the S8+ has the most annoying location for a FPS. I couldn’t wait to get rid of mine though that was about 20 devices ago.
