Day three and I've realised this position is basically a glorified receptionist that needs some specialist knowledge. I made a fair bit of progress, and while I'm learning lot's about how these bigger corporate bodies work in design/print/marketing, I can't help but notice the cool things the designers are making and wanting to be there so much more than this role. Spoke to a former teacher about the job and was advised that it's only worth staying in any role as long as it's valuable to you and what you want to do. Right now I'm thinking it's going to be a really valuable month, but I'm firmly focusing on getting other jobs after the month.

The cable is 50 cm too short, I had to move the computer to a less optimal position. But internet works perfectly so far.
I had dinner with a friend. I wasn't sleeping, but I'll be sleeping soon.

Yeah, maybe I'll try again with Windows 8.1 and maybe then even a new driver will be released. We will see. For now I didn't have any issues with my web and I can live with where the computer is standing at the moment.
Got my first payment today. I didn't know what I'd receive on my bank account as I only knew my gross salary, and I got much more than anticipated. Which is cool of course. Could have bought the more expensive computer anyway ;-)
