I have one year of free Xbox Live Gold. But I don't have an Xbox, so I won't use it.

If it was the free year you get with Office 365 then no its not tied to your account - it just gives you a code to enter which would make it available to anyone.

Just had chilli con carne for lunch, now munching on a boost bar and washing it down with a can of coke. Having my own personal moment of culinary orgasm at my desk.
