I really wanted a microSD slot now, didn't think I needed one at the time or higher storage 64GB.
However the 820 has the same specs apart from the screen being a lower resolution and amoled.

and worst camera, no high-end vendor apps availability, worst battery + it is not as future proof as 920, will be receiving software updates after 1xxx and 92x series.

All devices will be updated to the next version of WP.
Don't use the camera that much only for taking pictures of serial numbers, high end apps should be on the 820 it has the same 1GB of RAM and Snapdragon 400 SoC cloak at 1.5GHz as the 920.
So 820 is future proof like the 920.
