Here is a short summary of my WP8 adventures so far:
Oct 25 2013 Lumia 521 acquired, unlocked on Nov 8 and then sold.
Nov 8 2013 Lumia 822 acquired. Used till December 1st week then sold to someone in Brazil.
Nov 20 Lumia 810 acquired with a broken USB port. Port fixed but microphone was bad so returned to seller on eBay.
Nov 25 Lumia 810 acquired and the phone was traded.
Nov 26 Lumia 521 acquired during Black Friday deal on Amazon.com and traded.
Dec 3 Lumia 810 and 521 traded for a Lumia 925 and the 925 was sold today.
Dec 5 Lumia 810 acquired - unlocked on Jan 4 and is currently the daily driver
Nov 25 to Jan 5 acquired 9 Lumia 822 phones. One sold in New Mexico, one sold to WPC member in CA, one sold to WPC member in Sweden. Still need to sell 5 more and have one for parts.
Jan 5 2014 acquired a Lumia 920.
Oh I also happened to sell 3 Nokia Charging plates and 2 wireless charging shells for the 810.

I don't think it would be ideal for somebody to be outside at -50C...
Frostbite occurs quicker. It's a lot easier to die. Add in windchill and the temps become almost unbearable. At -50C steel snaps. That's interesting.

Damn, well, i kinda guess we had those temperatures down here, but the best we get is about 4 to 5C at lowest, or the warmest i've experienced was 47C.

-53C with windchill is the lowest I have experienced. In Regina, SK during a visit in Dec 2004. Lord only knows why we decided to go there that time. I shoveled snow during the entire trip and then when I came back I shoveled snow at our house cause we got 28 inches dumped overnight in a freak storm in Jan 2005. Yes people, it snows in AZ when you are 7000ft above sea level. Now I live in So Cal so no worries about snow any more

In 2007 my friend took me for a moonlight hike in the Adirondacks so that I could brag about a sub-zero (in deg F) hike. However, it only got down to 4F that evening:-(

This year's CES so far was sort of a let down. All what I'm seeing is recycled designs/ copying ( looks at Samsung) and windows/ android hybrids. So far this day had been a let down. I hope the next 3 days are better
